GoDaddy ภายใต้นายทะเบียน Starfield CA ได้เพิกถอน (Revoke SSL Certificate) ใบรับรองอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ จำนวนกว่า 404,607 ฉบับ อย่างเร่งด่วนโดยทันที ในวันที่ 22 ตุลาคม 2569 (ตามเวลาประเทศไทย-Bangkok Time) หรือ 21.10.2026 (ตามเวลาสากล UTC Timezone)
เนื่องจาก ใบรับรองที่ออกให้มีข้อมูลไม่ตรงกับข้อกำหนดในเอกสาร CP/CPS ที่ CA ประกาศไว้ ( Public TLS CP/CPS Certificate Policy ) ซึ่งการดำเนินการเพิกถอนใบรับรอง ส่งผลกระทบทันที โดยมีความจำเป็นเร่งด่วนที่ต้องดำเนินการเพิกถอน และ ออกใบรับรองฉบับใหม่ทดแทน เพื่อให้เป็นไปตามข้อกำหนด และ ข้อปฎิบัติตาม Mozilla และ CA/B Forum Security Standard โดยทันที
ประเด็นสำคัญ คือ ใบรับรองไม่ได้เกิดจากการถูกแฮ็กหรือ Private Key รั่วไหล แต่เป็นความผิดพลาดด้าน Certificate Profile และการปฏิบัติตามมาตรฐาน (Compliance) ซึ่งมีข้อบังคับให้เพิกถอนใบรับรอง แม้ใบรับรองเหล่านั้นยังสามารถเข้ารหัสและใช้งาน HTTPS ได้ตามปกติ
GoDaddy ยืนยันว่าเกิดความไม่สอดคล้องในข้อมูล Certificate Policies โดยเฉพาะ CA-specific Policy OID และ CPS URI Policy Qualifier ภายใต้ CA ของ GoDaddy และ Starfield

What is the CP/CPS certificate profile bug?
GoDaddy has determined that a number of SSL certificates were issued incorrectly and is re-issuing them. The incorrectly issued certificates were revoked on October 21, 2026 (Bangkok Timezone 22/10/2026). Once these certificates were revoked, visitors to your website may see security warnings, and your site may become inaccessible until a new certificate is installed.
